CATHOLIC SOCIAL SERVICES
Catholic Social Services (CSS) is an agency of the
Catholic Diocese of Christchurch delivering social services in Ōtautahi, Christchurch
Catholic Social Services provides much needed support to struggling whānau and individuals across all ages.
We provide counselling for adults, rangatahi, tamariki, whānau, and couples - all the while reflecting the Gospel and the social teachings of the Catholic Church.
We also administer group courses for adults and tamariki covering topics such as:

grief and loss

conflict resolution

emotional awareness

anxiety
-
trauma to name a few.

Our tamariki and whanau psychology service works with our greater Christchurch diocesan schools meeting the needs of the tamariki and rangatahi.
Catholic Social Service provides a caring safe environment, respectful and non-judgemental treatment, while displaying cultural awareness and complete confidentiality.
Community Connector
To provide information and support to connect people through a navigation model, with health or social services so that they can make informed choices that meet their needs. Once we have received your referral one of our staff will contact you to complete the process and advise you of the next steps.
Working Hours: Wed 9am - 5pm
Our services are provided free of charge to anyone in our community requiring help.
Contributions towards our work are gratefully accepted and assist us to continue to provide a free service to our community.
