REQUEST A REFERRAL
Individuals can seek help either by making a phone call or filling out our Referral Form (below), depending on their specific needs.
Agency or school referrals can also be made through our Referral Form.
Once we receive your referral, our staff will reach out to you to finalise the process and provide guidance on the next steps.
CANCELLATIONS & MISSED APPOINTMENTS
All our clients are expected to attend scheduled sessions on time. A cancelled or delayed appointment negatively impacts on our work and other clients. Your appointments are reserved for you, so out of respect, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for rescheduling or cancelling an appointment. Where possible, more than 24 hours’ notice is preferrable so we can schedule another client. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please call the office or text so that we have time to fill your slot.
A late cancellation or no-show appointment hurts at least three people: you, your counsellor and another client who may have been on our waitlist for some time.
FREQUENT CANCELLATIONS OR MISSED APPOINTMENTS
Frequent cancellations or missed appointments during the course of your counselling agreement (two cancellations within this period) or (two consecutive missed appointments) will result in the termination of the counselling agreement.
Although Catholic Social Services may send you txt reminders about upcoming appointments, this is done as a courtesy. It remains your sole responsibility to keep track of your scheduled appointments, whether you receive a txt reminder or not.
