GETTING HELP

Who Can Use Our Service

CATHOLIC SOCIAL SERVICES

Catholic Social Services, reflecting the Gospel and the social teachings of the Catholic Church, promotes human dignity, social justice, equality, participation and respect for human life, through the provision of services that support families and individuals on their life journeys.

The agency promotes a holistic approach by offering counselling, group courses for tamariki and adults, child and family psychology as well a foodbank service. All services are at no-cost and available to all. All clients can expect a caring, safe environment and respectful and non-judgmental treatment in a culturally aware and completely confidential environment.

Catholic Social Services works primarily in the immediate Ōtautahi Christchurch metropolitan area. Upon request, the agency can support parish-based initiatives within the wider Diocese, as needs emerge and resources permit.
